Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has called for the effective implementation of a package of policy measures to stabilize the economy.

Li made the appeal when he presided over a State Council executive meeting on Tuesday, days after the annual Central Economic Work Conference, which stressed the importance of making economic stability a top priority next year.

Efforts should be made to implement what has been agreed upon at the key economic conference, according to the meeting.
